Spellemannspris-utdelingen
Reidar fikk sin fantasi oppfylt på Spellemannspris-utdelingen 1987, hvor han møtte og fikk kysse Samantha Fox.
Bitten var skuffa over at Samantha Fox og Reidar sto og dreit seg ut på TV'n: «Det var mye smart å se på, årets mannsjåvinist og årets ugle møter hverandre. Han der skal ikke jeg prate med på.. hele mitt liv, i hvertfall».
Reidar møter Samantha Fox
Reidar var på vei ut til Mutter'n. Utenfor privaten stod Samantha Fox og nærmest kastet seg over ham. Reidar brukte litt tid før det faktisk gikk opp for ham at det var drømmedama hans som stod der.
Samantha: «Listen, listen.. You always kiss my poster on the T.V. So, here, I would like to kiss you in person.»
Reidar: «No.»
Samantha: «Oh no? that's nice isn't it?»
Reidar: «Are you real? It's you?»
Samantha: «Honestly, feel..»
Reidar: «Oh yes.. thank you, yes!»
Samantha: «Oooh, naughty boy! Listen, you thought I'd gonna be your mum?»
(Samantha og Reidar går ned trappen mot scenen)
Reidar: «Yeah, have you seen m-m-m-my mother?»
Samantha: «Eh, last time I saw her, she was, um, I don't really know. I think she's sitting over there watching you.»
Reidar: «She's not like you. Oh, she likes you yes, but.. Ja..»
Samantha: «Do you got a girlfriend?»
Reidar: «Om I got a girlfriend?»
Samantha: «Yes?»
Reidar: «Yeah, but she's not jealous.»
(Samantha og Reidar entrer scenen)
Samantha: «So, you gonna kiss me now? In front of everybody? And all the viewers on T.V.? This is your big chance.»
Reidar: «Hhhheeeeeh!» (Reidar nærmest besvimer)
Samantha: «Oh, come on!»
Reidar: «OK, where?»
Samantha: «Ehm, on the cheek. No! On the lips! Go on!»
Samantha: «Oooh!»
Samantha: «Are you OK?»
Reidar: «Yeah»
Samantha: «You sure?»
Reidar: «Så du det eller, Grøten?»
